We understand the importance that the whole family should be involved in the Safari and therefore we offer numerous Safari options. We also do tailor made Safaris according to your budget and needs. In South Africa, we offer more than 45 species to hunt and we specialize in Dangerous game hunts, Plains game hunts, superb Wing Shooting and Photographic safaris. Matt van Vuuren
Matts interest in the outdoors and wildlife started at a very young age. He shot his first animal, a Mountain Reedbuck at the age of seven on their family ranch in the Free State province. That was a big day in his life, and unbeknownst to him, the start of his hunting career. He has been actively involved in professional hunting since 1998 and obtained his Professional Hunters license in 2002. Matt gained valuable experience when he hunted in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania and Botswana,under the guidance of well known Outfitters and Professional Hunters including his father whom is still and active Professional Hunter. He is a hardworking Professional Hunter, with high moral standards, and ethics, ensuring that all clients will have an unforgettable experience.

Jacklyne van Vuuren
Jacklyne obtained her degree in Tourism Management and Marketing in 2004. She is actively involved with the day to day management of the company, handling all bookings and related queries, and helps in the planning of Photographic Safaris. She sets very high standards when it comes to the different camps Likhulu Safaris use, be it hunting camps, or photographic camps, ensuring that clients will have an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Jacklyne will also accompany non-hunters on sight seeing trips to places of interest. Jacklyne is also an outstanding cook and will make sure NO ONE leaves camp hungry.

Marius van Vuuren
Marius started working at Likhulu Safari's on a part time basis since 2010, and he permanently joined the staff as Lodge Manager at the beginning of 2013. Marius joined the ranks as a hunter at the age of twelve with his first animal, a Common Blesbuck which he succesfully hunted with his dad, also a Professional Hunter on their family ranch. He has been loosley associated with hunting ever since. Through his worldwide travels, Marius picked up a lot of experience and have a lot of tales to share, making him the perfect host.
Chris van Vuuren
Head Professional Hunter
Chris's passion for hunting started at the age of eight when he shot his first animal, a Common Springbuck, on the family ranch in the Free State Province of South Africa. After completing high school Chris did a two year apprenticeship in Zambia and obtained his Professional Hunters license in 2001. Chris worked with numerous and well known Professional Hunters and Outfitters where he honed his skills in all the different aspects of hunting. He is an avid bow hunter having taken several animals with his bow.

Jenn has been a full time detective in the South African Police Force for 22 years. He obtained his Professional Hunters license in 1999, and has hunted all over South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Jenn has been a part time Professional Hunter for Likhulu Safaris since 2009 and he spends as much time as possible in the Outdoors.

Bird Guide/Dog Handler
Pieter has been involved in Likhulu Safaris since 2010 as a part time Bird Guide and Dog handler. When Peter is not hunting or busy on their family farm, he is always out in the field scouting for new hunting grounds. He competes all over South Africa in several different dog trail events.
William joined Likhulu Safaris in 2008, where he learned his skills under the guidance of several Professional Hunters and Skinners. William has got to be one of the Best skinners in the industry and takes a lot of pride in what he does.
Abel joined Likhulu Safaris at the end of the 2010 hunting season. Under the guidance of William he has learned all of his skinning skills. Abel is a very good tracker, and learned his skills when he was a young boy taking care of his fathers cattle. Abel is also a driver and skinner.
Evelyn joined Likhulu Safaris at the beginning of the 2011 season. She is the main housekeeper and makes sure that all laundry is done on a daily basis and that the lodge is clean. She also assists in the kitchen when needed.
